MILLVILLE: County health department signs deal to move to city

BRIDGETON — Cumberland County government and the Millville Housing Authority today signed a five-year lease agreement for the authority's former headquarters at Buck and Mulberry streets.
The county Public Health Department will relocate from the county administration complex on Route 49 in Bridgeton to the building sometime in middle to late December.
Acting county health Director Herbert Roeschke confirmed the agreement this af-ternoon. Forty people will make the move to Millville, he said.
"I think it’s going to be good for a good portion of our population," Roeschke said.
The authority will receive $60,000 a year under the lease. The lease’s effective date is Dec. 1.
