The Finance/Accounting
department is the department that brings everything together. No
matter what anyone at MHA does, it will eventually have an impact
on the general ledger. The Finance/Accounting department exists
to facilitate the transformation of decisions into financial transactions
in a manner consistent with MHA policies and regulatory agency requirements.
The Finance/Accounting department is responsible for the assembly
and coordination of annual budgets, annual audit, and audit compliance,
accounting procedures and policies, monitor and report expenditures,
general ledgers for MHA and its non-profit organization, purchasing,
accounts receivable, accounts payable, investments, HUD financial
reporting, computerization and office equipment and for providing
support to all other departments of the Millville Housing Authority
in their efforts to improve programs and services to Millville Housing
Authority clientele.
